Giving it up for the homeless!

Well, it official on Friday at 3pm I will be homeless for twenty four hours.  What have I gotten myself into?

I don't know if I am going to like this, but I am going to give it a try and support my kids.  Tabitha and Samantha are a part of the Navarre Middle School choir and they are raising money for homeless children in our area. We are going to live outside in cardboard boxes and struggle all night long. The kids are excited about this event, and I am glad to be a part of teaching my children new values, but will they survive without TV or their computers. (I doubt it!) But this is a very good opportunity for them and maybe they will realize what we really have and what my hubby and I do everyday to make their lives easier. I love my kids.....sleeping outside in the cold....what a mom does for her children!!!

Well, we all survived.  As expected, but with a new outlook on life.  I have realized that my life can be a whole lot worse, and my little problems aren't a whole lot to complain about.  No more freaking out when I run out of cigarettes or pop.....my kids had a blast, and loved and thank me numerous times.....I love them crazy kids....What would I do without them!
