I learned a little about Walgreens Policies today when I purchased the Colgate Toothpaste.  I decided to purchase two toothpastes per transaction. I thought I would receive two register rewards certificates, but instead I received one only.  Therefore, when purchasing items that give a register reward, the items MUST be purchased separately. (Dang, that means I spent $4.00 too much....HATE THAT)

I still did good and I am definitely proud of my couponing experience today!!!

Happy Birthday Baby!!!

March 2 was my husband Scott's Birthday....He had one simple request of me, to take him to get some good food and great BINGO action. It seemed easy, but it ended being almost impossible!! We planned for a great day and it definitely started off right...We got some grub at Fox's Pizza (Oak Lawn, IL) We enjoyed a great meal of Pizza, Corned Beef Sandwich, Ribs, Burgers and tons of fries.

Corned Beef Sandwich
Sausage and Mushroom Delight

Now we were on our way to play BINGO at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino in Milwaukee, WI!! Yipppeee!
We had two hours to drive 90 minutes, but who planned for the car breaking...OMG! The car needed a new alternator and we were about 1 mile from Wisconsin....What are we gonna do? Stuck on the Tollway with a broken car and my Hubby's Bday.  We called for highway assistance and they arrived before we knew it!! We got a jump and thought that would fix the problem, NOPE!!  The Highway guys pushed us to the nearest gas station and wished us luck, with it being Sunday and all!!  (**Thanks guys you saved us!!)

We arrived and found the repair shop and hoped for the best.  The ladies in the TravelAmerica knew a guy that could help, and he should did!  Thanks Corey!! And I can't forget to thank my great friends, Emily and Kyle for coming through with the funds for the repairs...Awesome to have great friends!!

But it was now 7PM and BINGO was over. My hubby's day was being destroyed....What are we going to do NOW?? We decided to go to the Casino anyways and check it out, and to our surprise BINGO started at 830...at least that worked out!  Scott had a great time, no wins but lots of fun!

Happy Birthday Old Man....I Love You!!

So, all in all we ended up extremely tired, but Happy....We all had an interesting adventure and a day we will never forget!
