Couponing at Walgreens.....

Today, I spent about $23.00 at Walgreens today and I was able to snag a whole bunch of great stuff...

1. 10 Rolls of Toliet Paper (Walgreens Brand) @ 10 for $5.00 
2. 3 Bars of Caress Soap ($1.00 each)
3. 2 Irish Spring Body Wash @ 2 for $7.00
4. 1 Wet N Wild Clear Polish $0.99
5. 4 Suave Body Lotion @ 2 for $6.00
6. 2 Colgate Total Toothpaste on sale $3.00 each
7. 2 Colgate Max Fresh Toothpaste on sale $3.00 each
8. 1 Pack Bic Disposable Razors $3.79
9. 1 Post-it Tabs (My Guilty Pleasure) $2.79

Total Retail $50.53.....and I paid $21.85 and $1.48 in two separate transactions
I saved over 50% and still have $9.00 to spend at Walgreens...YES!!!

**My remaining reward of 5000 points and 2-$2 register rewards from Colgate are going to be used to purchase 20 more rolls of toilet paper....should cost me $1.70. Will add pics when I pick it up!

I learned a little about Walgreens Policies today when I purchased the Colgate Toothpaste.  I decided to purchase two toothpastes per transaction. I thought I would receive two register rewards certificates, but instead I received one only.  Therefore, when purchasing items that give a register reward, the items MUST be purchased separately. (Dang, that means I spent $4.00 too much....HATE THAT)

I still did good and I am definitely proud of my couponing experience today!!!
